I have solved for the derivatives:

Velocity(t)= 15.6t-8.4t^2

Acceleration(t) = 15.6-16.8t

At 2 seconds,

Velocity = -2.4 and Acceleration = -18

However, I don't understand how to solve for these questions.

*Find the time t > 0 (in s) at which the position is a maximum.

*Find the time t > 0 (in s) at which the velocity is zero.

*For time t > 0, find the maximum position (in m).

I don't necessarily need a direct answer, but understanding how to solve the problem and what equations I need to do so would be greatly appreciated.

We've been dating for nearly a year now, and thusfar, we've gone completely without even a single argument. It was like a dream come true where we agreed on everything to the point where we would occasionally even say the same things at the same time--two peas in a pod. The only thing we've ever seen differently is religion. He's a devout Christian while I am more...borderline(?). I believe that if God is real, something will happen to prove it...something will show me that God really does exist, but that is just between God and me. Until recently, he respected that. However, now he's come to the realization that either of us could die at any moment, and he fears that because of my religion I would go to Hell and we would never see each other again. His grand scheme is break up with me to force me to find God, and then for me to come back to him when I do. What the hell am I supposed to do? He really is my everything, and it scares me to lose him over something that just seems so utterly...stupid...

At my high school, the counselors have made automatic schedules for all students based on the credits they think we should have regardless of our preferences. The students are not allowed to change their schedules at all unless they cannot graduate with the schedule they have. Is this even allowed? I know there is no law against it, but I thought we were supposed to make our own schedules based upon what we want to do in life. I thought it was a way of getting us ready for responsibility and making important choices. If this is taken away, how can we be expected to take care of ourselves when we graduate? Is this right and is this legal?

I cannot come up with an original title for a fanfiction I am writing. The plot is a Grim Reaper (aka DEATH) who begins investigating strange occurances at Paris most popular brothel (Le Chabanais). It is there that he falls in love with a redheaded prostitute named Grell, the brothel s favorite escort. Unfortunately for Grell, a demon, the one causing the "disturbance", also has his eye out for her and lives under the guise of a rich Duke. It is up for the Grim Reaper to save his lover before she is seduced by the darkness that is a demon. Despite their mutual love for each other, Grell s soul is eventually stolen by the demon in the end, and the Grim Reaper is left with a broken heart and promise that he would write their story.

Other facts that may help:

The Grim Reaper s name is Cassius Montgelle. He is silver-haired and cursed to live forever as punishment for wrongdoings in his past life unless he can truly fall in love and be loved in return. In the end, after he finishes the story, he dies peacefully in his sleep.

The story s "quote" (from the movie it is based from) is "The greatest thing to learn is to love and to be loved in return."

Grell s favorite color is a "fiery red"...which is why I thought about "50 Shades of Red/Death"...but then I cast it out seeing as that seemed cliche and a rip off from "50 Shades of Grey".

What do you guys think?

There is a boy who has been interested in me and I him for the past two years. We re in high school, and college is down the road. My college is states (aka, hundreds of miles) away, and his is still here where we both live at the present. I m majoring in a specific skill in which only a few colleges have good programs. The closest is two states away. The best is all the way on the East coast (we live in the midwest). It is no question whether or not we like each other, that is a definite. However, homecoming is tomorrow, and I have a feeling (according to his not-so-subtle hints and his friends) that he will do something incredibly public and romantic to ask me out. The problem is that even though I think he might be "the one", I don t know how it would make it past our senior year with college only a few years away. I don t want to say yes and end up breaking his heart by moving so far we may never see each other again (as he has no money for college and can t venture that far. He also has a mother and two sisters that are his responsibility, and thus leaving with me is no option). However, I don t want to say no and make him think that I really don t have such feelings for him.

How do I manage through this? The only question that plays in my mind is: Let him down now or later?

This is the first real adoptin my immedite family has ever had. Most of our dogs have always been sweet strays took in. We know for a fact that she's a a husky/german shepherd/ beagel mix, and she stands nearly 6-9" tall at 8 weeks old (I am guessing she's about 5-10 lbs give or take). She has the husky-like tail and face; and with the exception ofa few white markings, she is completely black. Her most striking feature is that her front paws are actually silver.

As for personality, she is highly curious and very feisty.

Looking for names, I found Gin (Geen/Jean) which means Silver in regards to her paws, and I found Kimyo (Kim for short) which means curious. Both are Japanese names, but I just wanted unique names. I don't care what language they are in as long as it is short, sweet, unordinary, and relatable to either her looks or personality.

Also, I have been wondering how big she could get. I know that germans get anywhere from 45-95lbs give or take, and huskies perhaps near 100lbs depending on the type. I believe this will be a fairly big dog, but given the beagle inside, how big do you think she will get.

Summary: I need a short and simple name in regards to her looks/personality, and I would like to know an estimate of how big she might get. Could someone please help me? It would be most appreciated. Please and thank you :)

I am helping a friend design a poster for her History class. The idea is to draw a German eating a hamburger with a container of MUSTARD GAS on top. Unfortunately, I cannot think of something to say to go with this. Any ideas?

I'm doing experiments on orb-weavers in their webs depending on vibrations. However, no matter what I do, the spiders NEVER EVER move. The next day, there is a new web in a new place with a completely different design. So, they weren't dead. I even touched the spiders themselves repeatedly with a stick, sprinkled water on them, used a fan, a laser pointer, practically everything I could possibly think of, and they STILL did absolutely nothing. All three of my spiders did the same thing. These experiments and trials were conducted both during the day and at night.

I've heard that some predators let others nibble on them as they stalk other prey in wait. However, I have no idea what this could be called. I need some way to word this for my Abstract in my project report.

In a particular short story that I am writing, it is based on 19th century interior design in a shop. The front of this shop is a mortuary, and the back is an actual home. I do have a plan for the mortuary and the small basement beneath the home, however I need to know the difference between an Elizabethan style kitchen and an Old English. I am trying to stay true to the era in which the shop was built (1888-1889), even though the story originates in 1915 during World War I. Can someone tell me the difference between these two styles and have any tips for putting together the interior design in this room and perhaps the entire house?

I m trying to write a letter to send to my entire family asking for money for my trip to study in the University of Colorado Boulder so it will look good on my application to MIT. How do I write a letter asking for money without seeming too pushy or bratty? I want to stay respectful as possible.

I am doing a project on the vibration sensitivity of spiders in their webs and how it affects their movements. However, I do not know how to get a spider into a controlled environment, and get it to make a web. Any idea on how to do so, and if so, how are way that I can test the vibration sensitivity using sound waves?

So my story is about a man who is a single dad and comes home to discover that his deceased wife’s dress (the only belonging he has left of her) is ruined and destroyed by his 4 year old daughter. During the story, he does have an emotional breakdown and cries constantly over the tattered remains of his dress and his heart. And then, during the end, his daughter brings the dress to her mother’s grave and says that “Mommy will fix it.” When her father says that her mother isn’t coming back, she says: “I know. I just didn’t know if Daddy knew.”

My problem is that I need a name for this short story, and I can’t come up with a single thing. Help?

Okay, me and this other friend of mine do this roleplay of one of our favorite animes of all time. Alright, I found a wild bunny being attacked by my cats and I rescued it. However it was gravely injured and I would appreciate it if someone told me what to do. It is incredibly weak and has been in shock for nearly 3 hours (I left it thinking it would snap out of it, and if it didn't in 3 hours I would doctor it myself). It's flank is void of any fur and you can see bare skin, though the flesh has barely been penatrated. And its shoulder was ripped open to the bone. Luckily there is no damage to the throat, but I am still worried about how to clean its wounds and try to help it without hurting it. The rabbit still has a white mark on its head and is still small, meaning it is still an infant, so I don't want to harm it too mich and will try to release it later. Help?

Okay, so my younger brother has this question on his math homework that has taken me 2 hours trying to figure out. The question is:

He's choosing from regular shapes like squares, rectangles, triangles, blah blah blah. This is 5th grade math, and even I'm stumped. Can you guys help?

O.k., so I have most of my team chosen and I have a few back-ups still in training. However, I had my doubts about how good my Haxorus really was about a physical sweeper. Here is her stats:

Nature: Brave

Ability: Mold Breaker

HP: 301

Attack: 391

Defense: 222

Sp. Attack: 150

Sp. Defense: 167

Speed: 224

Moves:

Outrage (For sweeping)

Giga Impact (Powerful move, used usually for double battles or when I will switch out for the next pokemon)

Swords Dance (Ups attack even more, deadly efficient ;) )

Earthquake (Coverage, gets rid of Ice Types and comes in handy with Mold Breaker. Also good when regular attack stats are dramatically lowered)

And then I had doubts about her item. I was thinking either a Lum Berry to help when she gets confused after using Outrage, or a Metronome to bump up her attack for a huge physical attack. Here is the big problem, if I use the Lum Berry and I'm going against someone with 5 or 6 pokemon, and I only use Outrage 4 times and then I'm confused again, I could be confused whilst I battle the last 1 or 2 pokemon left, leaving my Haxorus wide open for attack. If I use the Metronome, I would get confused after 2 or 3 rounds and since I'm using the Metronome, my attack would be way up there and if I hit myself, my Haxorus would be one for anyways. So could you put in some advice? Please and thank you ^_^

Alright I know that everyone is asking about BB S3, and a few people are saying it was supposed to come out sometime 2013, but as we can all see, it is 2013 and it is almost over. If it was going to come out, it would have already. So my question is if there will ever be a season three. I know there is talk of a movie and people are asking me who told me there would be a season three in the first place. I am only trying to confirm a rumor going around. Please and thank you!
