12 months ago my wife and I leased a car for 42 months. We have since had a baby and we need a bigger car, the baby does not fit.

I called the dealer and they claim we can trade the car in for a new one. I am fine with continuing leasing since I signed a contract, but I don't want to pay a dime out of my pocket for penalties or a new down payment or anything. I just want to make a monthly payment for a bigger car.

Anyone with car dealer experience know how this can/will go down? Thanks

I have an opportunity to buy a large amount of diapers at discount, so I was thinking of stocking up all sizes now for our newborn. So that means some of the larger sizes would be sitting in a storage garage for a couple years. We are in SoCal, but inland so the temperature ranges from 40 to 110 depending on the month of the year.

Hi, I'm trying to beat the deadline next week of Amazon charging sales tax on orders in CA. So if I join AmazonMom, you get 20% off diapers, free shipping, and no tax (as of now). That comes out to about $36 for a box if diapers, that's $15 less than even Costco.

So I want to place a huge order and be prepared, at least 2 boxes of every size of diaper. The boxes have about 140 diapers each, give or take depending on size.

So how long will the baby wear each size of diaper? About 2 months? And how often do I change the diaper, I hear about every two hours. So right now I'm guessing she will go through about 2 boxes of diapers per month.

What do you think? Experience counts with your answer! Thank you :)

Our little baby is at 35 weeks, and is a tornado! She is moving and kicking and doing who-knows-what like all the time! Doctors say everything is normal and I believe them.

I just wanted some input from other mothers. When/if your baby was crazy during pregnancy, how do they act after they are born? I've heard both ways.

We have to move in July and are debating rent vs. buying. Rents are going so high because everyone is renting, but we don't want to buy if home prices are going to fall 10% or more. It would be cheaper to buy, but we don't want to lose our down payment in the event of a job loss.

My 7 y.o. has a sore throat and fever of 101. This morning she woke up with a flemmy cough. Other than that there is no diarrhea, ear ache, or chest pain.

I don't know the difference in what they prescribe antibiotics for, or just tell you to take tylenol for the fever and ride it out like a common cold. In the past I've mistakenly taken her (and spent the money) for a common cold, I only want to take her if she needs antibiotics.

I have a 7 y.o. daughter with an ex, and I've had a new wife for 1 year now. We are pregnant. My wife picks my daughter up from school on our days of having her, which is a 50/50 custody. My wife made a doctor appointment for our first sonogram, and it's on a day she picks my daughter up from school as their was no other choice. My wife "informed me" I would have to find someone (like my childs mother) to pick my daughter up from school so that we could go to the doctor together. She didn't ask, she didn't bother to get an opinion, she mearly told me this. After a short debate, my wife is upset that "we can't even have a moment together". Umm...excuse me? She knows I have a kid, frankly she has 2 kids as well but they are older.

My wife says she comes behind my daughter, my job, and my out of state travels. These are things that I have no control over, and she knew before we met. Now she has resentment toward those things. I love my wife deeply but why does she want so much all of a sudden, and what does she even mean? I have to go to work, I have to raise a 7 y.o., I'm totally confused. She says we need counseling, I said she needs a reality check because this is real life.

Am I wrong or is she?

This is my 1st year for doing taxes as being married. My wife is on disability and doesn't pay taxes on that (small) income. I am using Turbo Tax to do my taxes, it did ask me if my wife was disabeled and I selected "Yes". In no place has it asked for the income she made from disability. Do I have to report this anywhere for accounting purposes in my federal taxes?

My parents are splitting after over 30 years. I am 30 years old. My Mom did some awful things like cheat, and leave my dad. He is very bitter towards her. Yes I am closer to my Dad, but I have two parents and that will never change. She did a couple things to me as well but I forgave her.

My dad always wants to vent to me about her, call her names, and use me as leverage against her. I can take some of it but it's been going on for years now. I don't know why my mom is dragging it out, she needs to end the marriage as well then. She already has a new boyfriend.

My dad says if I let my young daughter meet my moms new boyfriend before the divorce is final, he will disown me. I dont know how his parents (my grandparents) would feel toward me either, they ahte her pretty bad for what she did. My grandparents have a lot of money and hold grudges forever so I don't want to make them mad and lose anything either.

What a mess, huh? I can help my dad but can only take so much, it stresses me out and pushes me away from my family. My mom refuses to ever talk about the divorce, she says it none of my business and she lives her life as she pleases.

I have a 7 y.o. daughter, and I was never married to her mother. She does not ask for child support, and we split time with the daughter 50/50. Come tax time, I always claim my daughter and we split the tax refund I get 50/50 as well. I file as head of household, with my daughter as the dependent.

I was married this year (yay!) to a girl who is on disability. She receives $1300 a month as income. How will I file my taxes next year? Can I claim her as another dependent since she does not work, and still file head of household? Or do I file as married? Does her income count as income on our taxes? I believe disability is not taxed.

Just looking to find out what to expect next year, thanks

What does a person have to do to attain this? Income through 1099? Itemize on taxes?

I have 2 awesome markets, but am always looking for more. Here are my 2 -

First one is called Guadalupana Market, at 2062 Daly Street, Los Angeles. Get off the 5 south at Main, go left on Daly. Probably want to go here during daylight only. It's a small market, dusty inside, but ran by an older Mexican couple. It takes about 5/10 minutes to get your meat, but she custom makes and mixes each order and you can watch her.

2nd place - Larios Market "King of Asada" at 19004 East Arrow Highway, Covina. This place is the bomb! Best in L.A. I'ev found so far. They have Orange marinade, and Lemon marinade. I recommend the orange. They are a larger store, clean, like a mexican 7-11. They have chicken too, fajitas, a full mini-grocery, and also sell cooked food if you want. Tacos for $1, etc etc.
