How do you do this? How is it fair?

I saw this happen lately & the answer was changed to agree with mine with a dictionary attachment. The main goal is to help others.

With a point system in place, there should be some guidelines. The majority of the answers were already there. Is it any wonder this person has 48% best answers?

On my stat page I have several starred questions that have already been answered. Why are they there ? Is it possible to delete them?

I've noticed many people have pictures and nicknames or alias's . I however, have an

exclamation mark & proper name. Is there a way to update this?
