Do you know Thailand?

Thanks for the question. I love Thailand. I like to know how people think about my county.. from different point of view. This makes me know more about Thailand aswell. And I want to go to Pai.

Knowing Thailand, it's a great place to live in to.

My first visit to Thailand was in 1980. In 1979 I was helping to build tanks for the Shah of Iran, and when the revolution came the only available air ticket out of Tehran was on an El Al flight to Tel Aviv. After a few weeks in Jerusalem I got bored and decided to try the delights of Bangkok. I met an American who spoke fluent Thai, having an American father and Thai mother, and he took me to a small bar in Patpong with large tables and pretty tablecloths. The next bar didn't have any tablecloths and the bar after that didn't even have any tables. Eventually I was offered a job in the USA, but I kept coming back to spend my vacations in Thailand. I married the prettiest girl in the world a few years later and when I retired eight years ago we bought a house in her home town of Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai isn't Utopia but its the closest I've ever found.

born/raise in thailand, travel many places, been to many provinces, still didnt c it all,

it's wonderful country and need to be explore, different part, have it's own culture and even speak different dialog, but people are nice all around =)

Left the UK in Dec 2002, settled in Pattaya. the best move I have ever made. Life is so peaceful and relaxing. Married to a Thai lady for 7yrs.
