I may not be happy when I begin praying but I'm DEFINITELY happy once I get started. God Bless you.

I know that if God is for me then nothing can be against me. With that being said, just the thought that a supernatural being would bother to listen to a miserable insignificant human such as myself makes me feel grateful.
So I would say I am majorily happy when I am praying. Though there are times I feel sad like the departure of a loved one or something happening to someone who isn't Christian. I feel for them--I don't know if that is really a gift of empathy, but I feel for victims in ways that people can't really imagine. I think that is something I have in common with God.
Anyhow, I will pray that your life is blessed and is going well. Take care!

I am happy while I am praying to lord.
When I meditate I do not pray but try to achieve the mental state of true silence, no mental activities but the inner peace, I meditate laying... I love the method :)

I don't really pray, but when I do, it's a bit of a stress-reliever when I feel like I'm not bothering anyone. XD
When I meditate, I feel calm. I try to wash most emotions away o.o haha.

I cannot say that I am "always" in a happy state when I pray, sometimes I am overwhelmed, stressed, even sad/hurt etc, which is a very good time to pray/converse with Him IMHO....but for the most part I am Usually relaxed or content....

Sometimes I'm happy. Sometimes my heart is heavy. Sometimes prayer is dry. But, like the apostles in the ship during the storm at sea, I remember Our Lord is with me at all times.

I am happy most of the time, but since God is my Father, I do complain sometimes and am not happy. I am never angry with God.

In both cases I try not to focus on myself, but when I do I am glad that I am praying.
I rarely meditate except in a way that really is more prayer than meditation. It almost always leaves me more peaceful and happy than before I started.
I like to pray the Hail Mary and the Our Father repeatedly, either while praying The Rosary or just alternating between the Hail Mary and The Our Father. Even when I have been very upset with anger, loneliness, sadness or anxiety, I have found this form of prayer to leave me feeling better. I must say, though, that I do not think we should pray to make ourselves happy, but to worship God and ask for God to bless other people.
I most often pray to tell God that I am sorry for my sins, and I ask Him please to forgive me.
Then, with God's Grace, I pray for other people to be forgiven for their sins.
When I am aware of being angry at another person, I ask God to forgive me for my anger and please to forgive the other person for their sins.
I detest Satan. I hate Satan utterly, and I reject all that he stands for. Sometimes I pray in part because I am upset or sad or angry, or because I am suffering in some way. At such times I like to do what Job did. I like to pray to God to thank Him for all that I have, and to ask forgiveness for my sins. I like to do that partly to show Satan that even when I suffer I still love God and I do not blame God for my suffering.
I like to make make it clear to Satan that when he attacks me I will not give in to his temptation to curse God. I hate Satan, and sometimes I pray to God with hymns of love and praise partly to discourage Satan. I must confess that I sometimes show more hatred of Satan than love of God. I have confessed this sin to priests and to God in the Sacrament of Penance.
One of my favorite places to pray is before the Body of Jesus Christ in the tabernacle of a Catholic Church. We Catholics believe that the consecrated bread and wine really are the actual substantial Body and Blood of Christ. It's not a mere symbol, but the substantial Body of Christ. I love to go to Church alone and sing hymns before the Blessed Sacrament. I do this to praise God and to defy Satan, both of which are good reasons to pray, in my opinion.
I am Roman Catholic.
Peace be with you.

I don't pray or meditate. Prayer is stupid and pointless, and meditation doesn't really help me that much.
