What would Barrack Obama gain from "attacking" Hillary Clinton?
Romney, the republican nominee for president, has spent a lot of money in my state... Every hour there is around 15-20 commercials promoting him. One of these commercials caught my attention. One where Romney's advertising campaign stated that Barrack Obama had spread "Vicious lies" against fellow democrat Hillary Clinton.
This peaked my curiosity. The political world can be extremely biased so its difficult to find a straight answer, thus is why i'm asking here, out of the thousands of people who visit this site, one of them must have a competent answer right?
What would Barrack Obama gain from "attacking" Hillary Clinton? How would that further his cause to solidify himself as a good president and worthy of re-election? Or had perhaps Hillary struck first, and Obama was merely defending himself? Obviously Romney would take advantage of any opportunity he has to discredit Obama... But is he taking Clinton's words out of context?
Intelligent answers appreciated.
A little bit of digging gave me this video posted in 2008. This is the clip Romney's Campaign is using
@Dawn of the Zombie g - Your answer is more of a question in itself. Can't choose that as a best answer :P
@Realistic Girl - Your opinion is noted, however you did not answer the question... only acknowledge that Romney took Hilary's words and used them for his own purposes... The question was about Obama not Romney, So I cannot mark this as Best answer. Almost did... but couldn't.
@Jim S - Your knowledge of political activists impresses me! However your answer is heavily biased and does not answer the question. So I cannot in good conscious mark this as best answer.
@Hit Girl - That may be true, but that's not really what we're talking about :P

Yes. Four years ago in the Presidential Election, it is quite common in that situation. I remember a few feisty attacks made by Santorum, Gingrich and others during the primaries which I am sure is going to come back very soon.
I am not sure if you have been following the news, but Hillary Clinton still agreed to work with the President after the fact. At present, he has nothing but praise for this wonderful lady, doing a fabulous job as Secretary of State.
What I find interesting in all of this, is the fact that Romney does not seem to have an original view about anything, preferring instead to react to anything the President says or does...This tells me one thing, he is reactive and a flip flopper. I can not in good conscience vote for Romney as President. He changes his mind much too often for no good reason apart from appeasing the people he happens to be talking to at the time. I hate that at work and I hate that in a President.
However, this is just my opinion.

ok, that's rather astounding to me! I mean am I the only one listening!!!!! all of us is entitled to their very own opinion superb? yet while is it going too some distance! I mean, first there replaced into assaults by ability of bill Clinton and then this Roseanne chick attacked Oprah for helping Obama. every person with 0.5 a ideas (and no prejudice) can see that Hillary is working a grimy campaign (merely like Romney) the latter has crashed and burned; do no longer comprehend why that has no longer occurred to Hillary. PPle do no longer help her merely b/c she is a woman and the spouse of the former president (who replaced into, I ought to confess, an extremely solid president,.. even with what he did in his, ahem, 'unfastened time') Have any of u who say u help hiliary have heard her plan, I mean ... that's merely too lots to respond to u Q - (if u have not guessed by ability of now) I help Obama and his call does sound comparable to Osama, yet as a author as quickly as wrote - 'what's in a attractiveness?"

I haven't heard that Obama did attack Hillary? outside of the primary 4 years ago that is? and that's what you do in a primary and I actually think Hillary was a little more vicious in that race?
did the commercial say when?
Hillary is a member of Obama's cabinet and they both seem to be getting along... publicly at least as far as I can see?
EDIT: apparently it was from the primary 4 years ago... a bit of a stretch for a political argument if you ask me... but it's a free country... Mitt can do what he wants...

Barrack does the same today, except it's not Carl Rove's "playbook", it's Saul Alinsky's.
The guy really has no friends, and his "acquaintances", keep their backs to the wall.
(the knife could come at any moment, and they want to at least see it coming)
I'm a good judge of character, and trust is something I've never had for this guy, he "oozes" grandiosity & sleaze.

Fighting experience...the woman knows how to fight. I don't like her but I can respect her ability to shred an opponent.
