Girl staring at me in class?

Question

I was sitting in class, and I looked up and saw a girl sitting opposite me just staring at me. Usually when this happens they turn away and I think nothing of it, but she never looked away. I didn't know what to do so I just held her gaze for a good 10 seconds, maybe more. Then I realized what was happening and I smiled and continued with my work. Now I see her and she smiles at me in the hallway, something she has never done before. What does all this mean? Am I overreacting? I'm not attracted to her in any way, although she is a pretty girl, I just want to know if this means anything.

Dude I gotta give it too you you held a gaze for ten seconds! thats pretty brave, but it sound like she likes you though. Thats a sign shes attracted to you, constant staring.

She might such as you. If I have been you the subsequent time you seize her observing you in basic terms smile. don't be stunned nevertheless if once you smile at her she starts chatting with you. She in all danger is somewhat shy and does not understand the thank you to get your interest.
