My partner has a very sore throat and her cheek has swollen. She is in great pain. On Sunday she went to the Medical walk-in centre and the practice nurse told her to take paracetamol and dissolve aspirin and gargle. This has not worked and today she went to see the GP who prescribed her with a Penicillin based medicine and told her to see our dentist.

Her teeth feel fine, so why refer her to a dentist rather than an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist?

He spits on the floor or at his little sister. When I tell him off he simply laughs. We have tried putting him in his playpen for a short while. He does not seem to understand instructions to stop. I do not believe in smacking children or any other violent method.

I know diesel engines are more economical in terms MPG, but how do they compare in terms of maintenance? My dad who is a London Black Cab driver says diesel engines are expensive to maintain, but a friend of mine with a Rover diesel says the costs are the same?

Also are diesel's more reliable than petrol engines?

So I'm not looking for MPG answers - but I am searching for answers about maintenance and reliability.

EAST ASIAN LANGUAGE IME FOR WINDOWS XP (JAPANESE)

My Windows XP Media Centre was provided on an OME set-up. The other day, I had to format the hard-drive because of corrupt files that could not be repaired.

On reinstalling my XP from the recovery disc - I tried reinstalling the East Asian Language IME (via the Control Panel, etc) however, on checking the box for East Asian Languages IME - It could not find the files required to install the IME on my recovery disc. This means my partner is unable to communicate with family and friends in Japan.

I have looked on teh Microsoft Website and they have a Global IME - but that is for Office XP and does not work on Windows XP.

Is there another way of installing or locating the East Asian Language IME?
