It's not a choice, it's an imposed belief of the religious (certain religions). It's fear 101 and that doesn't work as it may once have.

As for giving scripture to back up opinion/answers, why is there over 38,000 different denominations within Christianity ?

It's because there is disagreements on that very scripture you hand out. So don't expect people to believe what brand you do, or the brand you are selling.

I don't hold anything against Christianity which i don't hold against other religions. I'm consistent with my finger wagging at all religions.

Obviously as you have put so much energy and effort into Christianity you only see the negativity toward Christianity and take it personally, but i can assure you it's all religions.

The Bible makes an interesting comparison between malice and wickedness and sincerity and truth. It likens malice and wickedness to old yeast that defiles the dough used to make bread (1 Corinthians 5:8). Yeast (or leaven) usually symbolises evil or sin (Mark 8:15).

Jesus advised us not to cast our pearls (of spiritual truth) before swine (those who mock and scoff). Just wipe the dust from your feet and move on (spiritually speaking).
